Cold pressed avocado oil is extracted from the flesh of the avocado fruit, unlike most plant oils which are extracted from seeds. The oil-rich green pulp is mechanically pressed at low temperatures to retain its nutritional properties and natural green hue. Cold pressing ensures the oil remains unrefined, preserving essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants without the use of heat or chemicals.

Cold pressed avocado oil is known for its high content of oleic acid (a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid), vitamin E, and phytosterols, making it a powerhouse for skin and hair health. Due to its excellent absorption and nutrient profile, it's a popular ingredient in both cosmetic formulations and culinary applications.

Approximately 15–20 avocados are needed to produce 250 ml of cold pressed avocado oil.
