5 Best Natural Oils For Healthy And Glowing Skin

We all desire radiant and youthful skin. Most of us spend a lot of money on purchasing skincare products that claim to impart that desired sheen to our body. Do you know that instead of relying on traditional moisturizing creams you can use natural oils for that healthy glow? Here we are discussing some of the best natural oils that can bring a natural radiance to your skin tone. These products are gifts of nature that have been used by mankind for generations. It is time you also included these oils in your beauty cabinet and took advantage of their benefits.

  1. Coconut Oil

One of the most popular natural oils that is easily available is coconut oil. It is an abundant store of Vitamin E which is a natural moisturizer. The best thing about coconut oil is that it is readily absorbed by the human skin. It also has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties.

  1. Jojoba Oil

Jojoba is an indigenous plant species of North America. Technically it is not an oil but a botanical extract that contains liquid wax esters. What makes Jojoba oil special is that of all the natural compounds, its structure has the closest resemblance to human sebum. This means that it can ape the structure of your skin.

  1. Almond Oil

Almond oil has a lighter consistency than coconut oil and it has a pleasant texture that is soothing to the senses. Many people love to use it on their face as it does not have an overly oily texture. It is used a lot as a carrier oil for body massages. It is a storehouse of Vitamin E and also contains minerals such as zinc and potassium apart from proteins.

  1. Olive Oil

A big concern among people while using natural oils is whether they can trigger allergic reactions or not. Olive oil does not fall into the category of such products and is well-tolerated by a large number of users. It has a heavy consistency and is ideal for all-body applications.

  1. Rosehip Seed Oil

Rosehip seed oil is one of the topmost anti-aging oils in the world. Full of vitamins E, C, and D, this oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids. It also contains beta carotene and hydrates your skin. It can reduce wrinkles as well as provide a protective shield against radical damage.

Final Word

Natural oils are one of the most valuable resources for maintaining the youthful glow of your skin. Some precautions have to be taken while using these products as some of them can cause allergic reactions. Make sure that your skin is able to tolerate the oil and then proceed to use it.

Can cosmetic grade jojoba oil be directly applied on skin and does it have the same effect as cold preseed oil? Please clarify.

Yes, cosmetic grade oils can also be applied directly to the skin. They are commercial oils and are widely used in cosmetic formulations. However their therapeutic benefits are reduced by approx. 40% as compared to cold pressed oils.
